Is there any way I can change the background colour of the atrocious grey buttons in access. I have a module to do it but it is not very successful. as I cannot then put bmps on the button it has to text. Thanks in anticipation

You cannot change the background color of a command button, but you can place a command button over the top of a "rectangle" or a "image" then make the button transparant which will appear to make the button colored.

Candace Tripp has an excellent example of this on her website. The examples show many different appearances including oval, stone, multicolored, & woodgrain.

Look for the "color command buttons" database

Candace has many other great examples on her website as well.

Goodluck
