Are you able to open NAV, or are you r-clicking a file to scan it? Sounds like you might have gotten a virus that disabled your install of NAV.

i can open nav there is no problem in that & my virus definitions r up to date.the only problem is tht i canot scan, both by through nav or by r-clicking a file to scan.

i am fed up with this ,i am now going to reinstall the nav2002.now i hav to live update all frm the begining. can somebody recommend someway to backup the up to date virus definitions so tht i uninstall and reinstall nav1002 with out losing all those definition .plz help!

Hmmm, I didn't realize that NAV 2002 used a browser and called up status screens by a URL.

Do you have some kind of script blocking or something similar in Explorer enabled? If you're configuration is too tight then this might be your problem.

Reinstalling is another option, and no, sorry, I don't know of a way to keep the current definitions for the new installation. J.R. Juiliano
