Hi,

once more a question...
How can you choose between differnt report pages in one promt page?

for example: i have 2 report pages. one with name and city and one with name, city and phone. in a promt page i wanne implement a prompt field for name. the user should now have an aditional field (something like a checkbox but there isn't anything like this in reportnet) to choose between the 2 report pages.

checkbox isn't really a problem. i can use a boolean query instead. but how can i choose which report page opens when i hit the finish button?

thanks!

Namh

One way is to create a drill-through report as your prompt. I've set one up this way so the user selects if they want to run a National report only, Regional report only or both. Each selection drills through to a different report, each with it's own prompt page.
The requirement I had with this is that any un-needed queries not execute for performance reasons.

Assuming that for some reason you want 2 queries, and that a simple conditional suppression of the Phone column won't satisfy your business requirement, you can use conditional layouts to create separate pages for each format. Like ChillAPAC's approach, I believe only the query for the selected layout will execute.
