How can I check if a partition was dynamic before being formatted?

Hi,

So I've got this question. I've got a server and I wanna expand the data partition. I've see that's dynamic but i'm not sure at all is was dynamec before its creation (I was not in the company when in happened), so I'm asking if there's any utility or way to check this.

Please can you help me?
