I have a designed access report that is pulling data out of the wrong table. I need to switch to a new access table. Both tables have the same field names and data types.

Is there an easy way to do this? I click on properties in the detail header, but I can't find any setting to show me the name of the table.

You should be able to find the Record Source property of the report and change it.

Is there a good reason for two tables with the same structure? This is generally considered bad practice but might fit your needs.

At the top of the 'Properties' window is a combo box. From this combo box select "Report". You can then update the "Record Source" property.
