Hi --

I have text within a framed box that is too close to the top. How can I center it so that it's equidistant between the top and bottom?

I've tried manipulating the box itself, but no matter what I do, the text "sticks" to the top. When I try to play with the text i.e. move it lower -- it no longer fits in the box. I've tried all kinds of things -- changing the font to a smaller size -- which I don't really want to do --- and nothing works.

Can somebody help me?

...with the text box selected choose:

item > modify

make sure you are in the text tab, vertical alignment needs to be changed via the pull down menu...
