Hi all;
Do anyone has an idea on how to block the replication of a particular WINS IP on NT 4.0 server?
There is a strange IP of a WINS server that keep appearing everyday on the WINS database. Each time we delete it (using "delete owner") it reappears during the next propagation with other known WINS servers. The presence of this server tend to confuse clients when they make calls for name/IP resolution. For instance it points clients to some unknown remote servers instead of local ones.
Any idea how to stop this server from appearing on our WINS? All remote administrators claim they do not have this IP statically coded in any of their servers.
Thanks in advance.
