How can I apply filter to a report when it is outputing to excel

I have a question. I want to export a access report to a excel file, and I want to make some filters to the report when the report is OutputTo the Excel. Anyone can tell me How I can do that?

Since the OutputTo action doesn't support report filters or criteria per se, you'll need to 'pre-filter' the report with a query that gives it just the data you want. Then you can send it to Excel...
