hello all - Im a bit new to postfix so please forgive the (what i believe is) simple question.

I have postfix sitting in front of my exchange server and I've increased the incoming mail size limit on exchange to 20megs.

how can I make the same change to postfix?

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,

Sam

In main.cf (usually in /etc/postfix/) change the "message_size_limit" parameter to 20000000 or whatever, then restart postfix.

Well, that is the funny part.

I did that and I restarted the services (both stop/start and reload) and it still rejected an email that was ~16 megs.

Any other parameters?

Please provide output of "postconf -n" along with logfile excerpts.
