How can I add a LIM without bringing the system down.

How many lims are already installed ? If less than 11, you beter to start a new system.
Else :
- Make an inl
- Connect your lim
- load the LDT with Pu like lim 11
- copy common data
- start the lim and SFCEI
- Backup
full description in alex : "ADDITION OF LIM "
Hope this help

Please rorni.

Can you explain more details about "copy common dada" ?

Alex said that you erase "common functions" and then you initiate again.

Which are the common functions ?

How I copy this data to new LIM ?

Thank.

If you have to ask these sort of questions you really should get someone who knows what they are doing as it is a reasonably complicated operation

Regards

les than 11, so beter to start an full new system.

Alapi : when you add a lim on line, you must stop call logging, traffic recording and after the lim is added, you have te recreate those.
but you must also set the number plan in you new lim. for this, use command ladci to copy data from a lim to an other.
But I strongly advise not to do this alone for the first time !
