hi everyone.
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the subject of linux to activate a wake on lan windows 2000/XP/millenium machine. I have never used it before, and the basic of information and method of booting up a machine/configuring from another machine.
i assume the card will physicaly boot the system if another machine sends a bit of info to the card to tell it to wake up?
will it boot into ordinary mode?
can i make it boot into a script or setup that i have configured for a network?
This different if waking from a linux terminal???
thanks everyone!!
