how can i fix the problem with the tab control in Access 2003 that if the dispaly of the pc i am runing on is the deafault xp view it wont set the tab conrtol backround colo but if the pc dispaly is in classic view it will show the tab control and all of the systems i put up they look awfull design because of this problem

Don't have a copy of Access 2003 at hand, so I can't swear this is right, but I believe in this version of Access you can go to Tools->Options and select/deselect something like "Use Window Colors" or "System Colors" or some such. I think they added this option for just this problem using Windows XP.

But you haven't used Access 2003 for 12 years! And this feature, I believe, was new to this version!
