how can detect my videa adapter driver and modem

i reinstall win98, but , do not have the cd of the mainboard for configurate the video adapter, and i do no have the cd for the modem driver.....

is posible know what video adapter driver and modem driver use my computer, if i have not the cd driver....

when i try to win98 search for a modem, no detect nothing,
before to reinstall, the modem work fine...


please , i am frustated,
somebody can help me.....

Some video and some modems require drivers to be loaded before the item can be seen.
Most video can be determined by a splash screen that shows up momentarily at power-on post. Modem can generally be identified by fcc id number. Ed Fair
