How can call container method from an activeX control

I know how to make activeX control method available to a container but I don't know how to make my activeX control call some methods in a contrainer.

I know this can be done, an example is Macromedia Flash,
which can use FSCommand to invoke java scrip outside Flash.

Help me please. ?
