I'm still trying to figure out how do things in Access 2002 work (well Access in general, that's just my version) and I'm stumped.
Here's where I'm at: I have a Product Return form based on a query of several tables. I need the users to be able to add up to 6 lines of itemized returns onto the form. For each itemization they would have to key the product type, product name, item number, quantity, and credit amount.
I am stumped on how to create it both on the form and also in the tables (maybe I should have posted this to the tables forum).
I've tried to do it two different ways, but neither of them have worked very well. The first I tried was to create six different tables, one for each potential line. But that was very clunky and produced various errors. The second idea I tried was to add each field into the query six times. That didn't work either.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could work this out?
Thank you!
