how can a macintosh use the the m/s proxy 2.0?

I have configured all the windows workstation to use the proxy but I am having trouble setting up the mac machine to use the proxy. Configured the mac client using <A HREF="

TARGET="_new">

Http://&lt</A>;proxy_server&gt;

going through port 80, but no connection.<br>

Mac needs to be using ip not appletalk.

Maybe I am over looking something, the Mac is getting an IP from a DHCP server and is saved on the TCP/IP configuration. Do I need to take out the AppleTalk Protocol out?<br>

assume your proxy server does actually use port 80! Can you get hold of a copy of MacPing and ping the proxy server?
