How caa i write a macro to select a block of cells?

I need to be able to write a macro that will select a block of cells. The problem is that the size of the block varies
e.g. January has cells down to 'A21', but february has cells down to 'A50'. So i need the macro to select only the cells with data in. I tried a macro witha loop, but was unable to get it to actually select the cells. PLEASE HELP!!

How is the block set out ??
Do you have multiple months in one sheet or is there only ever one month's data in a sheet ??
