fre2 in class and usually ncos 1, at your phone change the ncos to 1, test your phone for local, ld etc... change the ncos to 2 test and note the results.. ncos is mapped in 87 prt cntl.. that will show you ncos 0 = frl 0 1=1 etc, that map is usually clear.. no translations used at that point.. in 90 each npa (1803) nxx (434) or spn (911) is entered with a route list block (rlb) assigned, in load 86 that Rlb is defined as rli's (rlb is a folder) rli is a file.. ld 86 prt rlb will show entries on that route list. you will see a route (group of trunks) and a frl .. that restristion level sets the "cost" fo the call.. if frl=3 then your ncos (money) must be =to or greater then 3.. you may see a dgt to translate dialed digits.. not that often..
example.
ld 90
prt
0
net
ac1
npa
1803
output
1803
rli 12
plus stuff to ignore
ld 86
prt
rlb
12
output
stuff to ignore
then
rout 1
frl 3
i now know if nctl in 87 is ncos 3 = frl 3.. (common)
a set with ncos 2 can not dial 9 + 1803 but a set with 3+ can... just a few steps and a lot of prompts that you don't need very often but it is about 4 steps to dial thru a nortel...any changes in these loads effect the cust...the answer ac1 is for access code 1...almost always 9
