How big a UPS needed to power VoIP & cable modem?

I recently went through a 48-hour power outtage during Hurricane Rita. Of course I took down my server & PCs before the storm hit (and took them with me, I was in that line of cars you saw on TV!). Since I am using VoIP my alarm & phone goes down with the power, I have a consumer UPS for short outtages.

How large a UPS would I need to keep these two devices (Vonage modem & cable modem only) going for 2-3 days? I can get home & fire up my generator within that time.

Each device has a 12v 1Amp adapter. The cable Internet connection is buried and higly reliable.

Hi I also have an NEC voIP telephone system. unofurtnalty the box only has one power lead and to run it competely of my little UPS would kill it. With the servers i only plug one power lead into the UPS ad one into the wall. If your box had to leads you could try that. If you get an answer to your question i would appreciate the post.
