How are buttons configured to dial another external number? 1

I have an Avaya 6408D+ phone type and want to configure one of the eight buttons to dial another external number, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can program it in the PBX as either an 'autodial' or an abbreviated-dial number.
