Hi!
I am working with VFP for years but never in relation to WWW.
What's a good place to start with?
Is MySQL required to be available from ISP or whatelse requirements ?
-Bart

What are you trying to achieve? Have data accessible via a Web server? Access it how? VFP or something else. Interface or not?

Mike,
The idea is to have information, now abvailable in VFP, to share with 'the world'.
Users should log-in and will have -depending on their status- access to all or dedicated data.
VFP-forms can be converted to use on the web?
Reports as been designed in VFP can be converted so users can use them on the web?
Some actibe pages may be there so users can compose kind of sql-cursor to download etc.

Everything you want to do is feasable, but there is a learning curve to every solution. Every thing that is related to the web is web specific, so since VFP and the Web are not related, there isn't any easy transition.
1. You can design ASP pages to access VFP data.
2. You can take a look at these links:

To name 2.
But there no easy way to do it, but to "modify/rewrite" your forms to access the data.

You might look into VPN or terminal server, for solutions that required less modifications to your application.

Ok,
Thnks Mike.
Going to have a look.

I have done extensive work in porting fox data to the web. Mike's suggestions are excellent products. I have used WebConnection on many projects with success. However keep in mind that WebConnect and AFPages need to be installed on the Web server. If you are hosting your own Web server or if you are deploying in an intranet situation, this won't be an issue. However If you are looking at using a standard hosting package, you will need to look for a dedicated package or go with specialized hosters.

For this reason, you might want to look at porting the web part of your application under ASP.net

Jean,
Thanks for your worthfull advice.
As with most 'new' things it's always difficult to start with right choices.
