How accurate is the report from INV GEN SETS? Can I delete the one saids unavailable?

I don't get your question. If you want to delete sets for sure not in use, 30 should be in you midnight routines, do an LDIS in ld 32, obviously a disabled set no one is complaining about is not in use and can be smoked. I like having a few dsbl sets around, easy to add new users.

that is what i do, i usually enlu, idu, then print the tnb and save it to a file.. but that file has 4 maybe 5 hundred sets some as old as 3 years.. very seldom, i get a trouble, a user unplugged a set and put it in a file cab during remodel or vacation.. but i have never had one show missing and still be a good set on the far end..

i run inv prt twice a week.. with 10k users we have a lot of free upgrades and users that think they can move there number... those usually give me a trouble

We have used it in the past to find inactive sets. We usually will disable those TNs and let them sit for a couple of weeks before we recover them.

Load 30 is not included in MIDN. I ran INV GEN SETS then printed it to find out which TNs are built with no phones connected. I have a task to clean up or delete all the TNs that have no phones connected to them.

Should add 30 to midn.
Also be aware when you do something like this. Don't out and pull wires immediately. Someone could be getting their office painted and unplugged phone for safe keeping. Or maybe there was a leak and the phone was pulled out for safety reasons... Whatever...
If you find a phone that Disabled/not in use, make note of it and if it is still not in use a couple weeks later and nobody has complained then I would say it's safe to delete. Otherwise you will just be doubling up your work. When someone calls to say there phone is dead the day after you delete it.

Besure to do an enlu and idu before deleting the TNs. INV PRT SETS is NOT 100% accurate.

Jacco.
