hi there everyone,

my pc is running win2000pro but the c: drive is quite an old 8Gb NTFS. I want to completely duplicate that drive's contents onto a new 120Gb NTFS drive so that all i have to do would be to just put in the 120Gb drive as the new C: and remove the old 8Gb.

how do i do this? i dont' want to re-install the os and all those drivers again, the pc's running perfectly.
is there a free software to do this?

thanks for any help.

Go to the website of your new hard drive manufacturer and download their free utility software. Nearly all drive manufacturers offer a free disk-to-disk copy utility to aid in the installation of new drives.

thanks 4 the advice,

i went to seagate.com and downloaded "discwizard2003" hopefully that will work 4 me.
