Hi,
Simple question maybe, but how do I set a descriptive text for a button, that will appear when the mouse hovers over it?

You need to make use of a ToolTip component and set up text strings against it - setting the buttons ToolTip property accordingly.
I hope that this gives you a start with things on this matter.
