Hover Over Comments 1

I might be dreaming on this one but I have to ask. Is there a way to make comments or something for the fields in my report. Or some way to make a legend for the report data fields.

for example my report has fields like
[li]Open PO[/li]
[li]Open CO[/li]
[li]Open SO[/li]
[li]Last Q1[/li]
[li]This Q1[/li]

and be able to explain further like if you hover over the field name it will pop up comments explaining the data, or a way to click "legend" to explain something like

Open PO Means Open Purchase Orders, also includes Supply from internal suppliers etc...
Open CO Means Open Customer Orders which includes material reqs and Shop Order Demand.

and so on..

You can set the Tool Tip Text property to show whatever you want when the mouse hovers over a particular field. For example, right click on your "Open PO" field on the report canvas > Format Field > Common tab > click the [x+2] button next to Tool Tip Text, and enter (including the quotes):

"Open Purchase Orders, also includes Supply from internal suppliers etc..."

You can do the same for any other field/text object in the report.
