I am new to Front Page. I currently run MFP 00' I think. My problem is when I created hover buttons they don't seem to work when I preview them. They look like a missing pic being loaded and obviously then don't bevel. Could anyone help me out. I would really like to view this before I publish this. Can I fenagle it so I can add other buttons? Thanks

I am a newbie also, two weeks with front page, the same thing drove me nuts, until I read in "How to do Everything with FP 2000" that what we are experiencing is normal

The problem might depend on what browser you're viewing it in. The hover buttons work great in IE, but won't work right in Netscape. That may be the source of the problem. Yes, you can change the capability to both IE and Netscape, but I can tell you from experience that things still won't work right in Netscape.

Actually Front Page hover buttons do work in preview mode but they are terribly unreliable even in IE and are not to be recommended, several articles regarding this around and even MS admit this. They also admit that their DHTML mouse over is rubbish, they have not managed to improve these in FP2002 which is most disappointing. MS hover buttons, which are applets, work from the viewers browser not from the server like javascript. If you have low resources then IE and especially NS can just not view FP hovers at all or show them disjointed. You can get a simple two line javascript mouse over that will work perfectly well - and be reliable.
