Hey,

We have recently upgraded to a SBS 2003 / Exchange 03 server from a SBS 2000 server. We originally (stupidly) forgot to disable relaying- Within 14 days we had relayed close to 13GB of spam. Sure enough we were blacklisted from several ISPs. Sorted this mess out as much as possible.

Staff last week started advising me they could not email some overseas providers, this turned out to be a fault with our Reverse lookup zone at our ISP, after correcting this all international and national email (We are Aust. based) seems to be sending fine - With the exception of hotmail.com.

Email will only ever occasionally make it thru to a hotmail account. But 95% of all emails from our domain are bounced. Hotmail / MSN staff assure us we are not blacklisted. Does anyone have any thoughts about this cause Im in big trouble till its sorted.

Thanks
Nick Brown

Hey,

We will get a delay in sending then about 10-20 minutes later will get "Operation timed out". Yet I can connect fine with Telnet so its definatley a smtp prob.

Cheers
Nick Brown
