Hello,

My receptionist asks me if our telecom group can program an extension that when she needs to dial a number, it will call out to 3 or 4 different extensions at the same time.

My thinking is hunt group but it does not call all numbers at one time. Speed dial can only call one number at a time and Hotline can also call one number at a time without dial a number.

So, if you have a solution you want to share with me that would be great. Thanks for your help in advance.

Check out Group Call

group call depends on the complete group answering.. look at adding mcr keys as dept dn's.. then one number will ring up to 31 stations and the 1st person that answers gets the call.. the rest of the stations return to idle for the next call..

hunt groups ring one station x number of times then rings the next one for x number of times.. if it's cir, it keeps ringing until it is answered.. works ok but you can get a dozen ringbacks before reaching a live body. it bypasses station hunt and forward.fna..

mcr keys will follow hunt/fdn/cfw on the station it is marped on.
