I have an analog ext assigned to tec_14. I setup ahls for station to test with. My station is 5240, I chose type = 1, I set "con tn" = 1, and "con station" = 5548. When I go off hook on 5240, nothing happens. is there another setting that i need to enable.
Ultimately I would like to have this dial out of the pbx to an 800 number. I am just trying to get it working right now.

That should work unless you have 5548 set to forward to an outside number , if you want it to go to an 800 number you will want to set it as 2 ADC 000 for a connection type in AHLS and set up in ASPD 000 - 91800XXXXXXX. Having the destination number in AHLS set to forward to an outside number will not work.

ok. Thanks for that. I am going to try that. I will post if I have any issues.

Just thinking outloud but nothing has to be set in ASYD does it?

So I did the programming and double checked. It still will not call out. It doesn't seem to even attempt the call. Any thoughts?

If you make that hotline extension a normal TEC 3 can you call out on it? Is the RSC of the phone restricted?
