Hotfix Version Numbers?? 1

how can you tell which version number is related to which Hotfix?
I'm using version 8.1 but don't know if the 8.1 hotfix has been applied or not. It would be helpful to have a list somewhere...
I remember that for version 7 I found a list that was very comprehensive and told which file version equaled which hot fix, but there doesn't seam to be one for 8.x

Check out HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Pervasive SOftware\Products\<product>\HotFixes (or similar)...
THe other option is to just update (assuming the vendor of the app supports it) to V8.6.
