Hotfix Question

I am running SQL Server Express, and I am trying to install a hotfix. The hotfix is KB936305. I have downloaded the self extracting file, and when I start the extraction it asks for a password for both the .exe and related files.

I have tried every password possible for these files, the DB password, windows password, etc... Nothing works.

Am I missing something? Is there a specific way to install hotfixes that I have missed?

When you go the email from Microsoft which gave you the link to download the file, it should have had the password in it.
