We replaced a defective sx200 with a new 3300 MCD, at this point in the SMDR we only see the output or converted number, is there a way to see the actual speed call that it's dialing?

Trying not to have to go into hundreds of rooms to reprogram all of the buttons.

One of my techs thought it was possible through the maintenance commands, but I can't find anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

We use a Metro Tel Digit Grabber (TPM32) to listen to the DTMF being sent by the room phone. If there no conflicts, I just create associated directory entries or speed dials to direct the existing programmed buttons as needed.

It was a couple hundred dollar investment, but it paid for itself in two hotel installations with the man hours saved not having to re-program room buttons.

I do the same as 619Tech. A digi grabber or some butt sets with a display have built in digi grabbers will work and save you a lot of time. There worth every penny.

Check your system speed calls first

Typically, the keys are mapped to speedcalls

There is a way to see the digits dialed from a station but is is very difficult to time and capture.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

One other thing you could do if looking at this remotely is run a CCS trace and get a hotel worker to start to dial out then press the button. for example get him to dial 901942 then the button. You will see on the CCS trace 01942 then the digits to follow.
