Hotel Mode

We have an issue were on a magix system a couple of phones are restricted from calling out "call denied" shows up on screen
Where its a Hotel Mode setup and the console has a ES2 button
what is the proper way to use the restrict /Unrestrict
function of the Hotel Mode

Feature *44 Status Off
Feature 44 ES1
Feature 45 ES2

from the console do you depress ES2 dial the extension
to restrict ....and to unrestrictions do the same procedure
???
or assign a status Off key *760 and depress the extension #
..there is No DSS console just a 20 button MLX set
FYI already checked
Check Extensions > restrictions > unrestricted (as all others)
Extensions > Ars restrict > set to 3 (as all others)
No Night service restrictions as well

In hotel mode:
ES 0 = Room occupied, calls can be made (no led)
ES 1 = Room unoccupied, needs cleaning, no calls can be made. (flashing led)
ES 2 = Room available, no calls can be made (solid led)

Changing the status from ES 1 to ES 2 can be done from any phone.

Changing a phone to ES 0 can only be done from the main console

Since you do not have a DSS console, and presumably more rooms than buttons on the phone, you will have to rely on dialing the feature codes.

Assigned a ES OFF button (*760)....print of phone does show ES2-RESTRICTION ......I was able to Find and program
a DSS console for the Main Attendant (Ext #'s 4 Digits)

depressing ES OFF button will give you a beep tone

so what is the proper way this is done :
depress ES1 and Extension (BLF Button)
depress ES2 and Extension (BLF Button)
depres ES OFF and Extension (BLF Button)

Kind of funny there is No ES1 assigned on console

Getting waved becasue Extension > Ext Status > Assign DLC was not programmed ...set it for Console

Assign ES1 , ES OFF buttons and works like a charm
