Systems Engineer
Hello,
A hotel customer of ours has an LG IP-LDK 300 system and have asked me to make some changes.
The system attendant (where calls go when somebody dials 0 internally) is currently set to extension 400, and this is working fine. They have asked that when somebody dials 0 for reception it rings on extension 400 like it does now, but also rings on another extension at the same time. So imagine for example a hotel with 2 digital phones on reception, extensions 400 and 401, and a guest in a bedroom calls 0. It should ring on both of the reception phones, not just one of them.
I tried setting it up under "Linked Pairs" (PGM179) but it didn't work as expected. If I call extension 400 directly then the pair does ring together but if I call the attendant via 0 it does not ring on both phones, just extension 400.
I tried adding the additional extension as Attendant under Attendant Assignment (PGM164) but that didn't work either and I'm not sure that was the right thing to do anyway:
Is there a way that I should be doing it, please? I just don't seem to be able to get it working. I'm no expert on these systems so I'm hesitant to try too many things without asking here first in case I break something I can't fix.
Thanks!
