Hey guys,

I am able to hotdesk from site A to site B but when I make a call from site B it appears to try to dial out of site B

From what I read on outgoing calls, it should use settings of remote system, but it appears calls are not going out the remote site, rather the local site.

When a user logs in to a remote system:

· The user's incoming calls are rerouted to that system.

· The user's outgoing calls uses the settings of the remote system.

I hope this made sense, any help is appreciated.

Guess I should have said this in the first post
IP 500 v2 8.1
9611g phones
sip trunk with h.323 scn

You answered you own question....site A user goes to remote system (b) and so calls to to him there and calls go out from the remote system (b)....exactly as you describe. The remote system doesn't become his home/local system just because that's where he is sat :)

OK great. Just misread the documents. Thanks for the clarification.

With smart programming of user rights and ARS you can force a hotdesker to always dial out of the "home" site sending the users DDI number.
Keep in mind thet emergency numbers always need to go out from the local system.
