The needing is enter the vmpro call flow, following rules and conditions, then make an external call to be recorded (with the standard recording greeting).
No problem in dialling an external number but how to activate/deactivate the vmpro recording?

Leave mail" action, "Listen" action, "Voice Question" action. They can all be used to record the callers response.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

mmmm, the recording should be activated after the called number answers

That's all done through the IP Office configuration. If you want some calls recorded but not others then you need to explain the scenario a bit more. For example, tt may mean routing calls by a different group.

[Yes, it would be lovely is Voicemail Pro transfer actions included a start recording this call option but they don't]

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Here we are @sizbut: the needing is some external or internal "agents" (best would be if recognized as users but not mandatory) enter the vmpro and manually dial the external destination they need. As soon the called one answers the recording (with greeting) should be activated. At the moment I activated the recording through the Incoming Call Routes but in this way all recording are dropped down into the same mailbox, looking for something better.
