I have an older IBM XSeries 235 that has everything but the drives. It is hot swappable but I really do not need the hot swap features(Not worth the extra cash that would have to shell out) I would like to find out if I can use regular ultra 320 drives in a caddy adaptor. If any one can let me know the part number for the caddy it would be much apreciated.

Thanks

James

I have not seen an U320 drive that was NOT hot swap...

You can buy them each way. right now on Ebay the non-HotSwap 146 gig drives go for about $60 dollars each while the hot swap go for about 200 to 300. I think the caddy I need goes for about 15 dollars each.
