I'm having a brain fog. All of my web pages are based on one template. This has been no problem, however, when I insert an image and try to create a hot spot somewhere on the image, it won't take it. What causes this and how do I get my hot spots on?

I was shocked by the sudden realization that something was terribly right.

u have to click-select the image and then look into your Properties Tab......use little marking tools to make your spots and their links...

That's exactly what I'm doing. I can get it to work when the image is not in a template-based page. Why would this be?

then my 1st thoughts would be to make sure that the image in question is sourrounded by "editable" tags (or regions)

if u like post the relevant code arround the image....don't get frustrated, obvisly u know how to do it...it is only a matter of a bit of code tweaks!

Ok, finally figured it out...I had to open a new page (not using my template), insert the image, add the hot spots and then saved it as a library item. When I insert the library item into the page, the hot spots work!

I was shocked by the sudden realization that something was terribly right.
