Also, is there a way to disable it system wide?

You can't delete it that I know of. But you can change it then turn it off from the phone. Remember when you change it it will defualt to 12345678.

CPWD l s c u
c u
Clear directory password for M3000 set.
Option 11C format
Allows the M3000 Directory password of the specified M3000
set to be reset to default (12345678). This allows a user to
access the M3000 Directory if the password has been
forgotten or if the user wants to change the current password.
Applies to M3903, M3904, M3905, and i2004.

Oops, I forgot to tell you the load...

LD 32

CPWD l s c u

Example:

CPWD 52 0 8 13

Thanks for the info but it didn't work. I went into LD 32. Put in the CPWD 8 13 (the TN), but the password was not reset. Is this command in a sub directory in LD 32? It has been a while 2 years since I have done any Opt11 admin.

No, it is really just that simple. But remember, the password will be reset to the default of 12345678.

that doesn't clear the table, lets you clear it from the phone and change the password from the phone..(hint) out the phone, build it back.. there are no sub directories in your switch at this level....dms 100 but not the sl 1
