Hi,

Here is one that will stump you. BCM200 - 3.6

Our remote staff uses i2050 softphones as their primary extensions. When they come into the office, they hotdesk onto i2002 phones.

Some staff are members of our Support Hunt Group. When a DN is added to a hunt group it take the top left display button on the i2050.

Problem is the 12002 only has 4 display buttons whereas the i2050 has 6. When they hot desk to the i2002 the hunt group button is no longer accessible.

However, the extension will ring when the hunt group rings. Problem is if someone answers the hunt group, then puts the call on hold, there is no way to pickup that call as the button doesn;t exist!.

We have worked around this by using call park and pickup instead of hold. Anyone want to take a stab at this one?

Not sure if this will work with hunt group dn's, but what if you try moving the line buttons around using Feature *81 so that they appear in a different spot on all the sets. This way it would always appear.

I dont think you can move system assigned buttons i.e. Hunt Groups and I/C keys

Feature *81 will change appearances of system assigned buttons. Haven't tried it on IP models so I'd be curious if it acts differently for some strange reason.

nsantin, please let us know how it goes.
