x1030 lives on Oakland 3300
She was hot desked in SF successfully
She moved back to Oakland today, she is getting feature failed when attempting login.

3300 MCD 5.0 on all controller
ip/xnet/clustering all set up. All of this worked fine before.

I can take my #, x2888, live in los angeles. I had someone log me in to my hot desk in Oakland. WOrked.
I'm getting in teh Oakland controller log files
Description Hot Desk : redirect or update failed for 1030

Probably still logged in on the remote system and Remote logout not enabled.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Remote logout is available on the COS and maintenance command on SF shows
Hot Desk : 1030 Currently not logged in
Sorry, I misrepresented.
x1030 lives in SF, not Oakland. She is trying to hot desk 1030 into aphone in Oakland, feature failed.
I had someone try my hot desk from LA to Oakland and it worked fine.
We've reset the password and tried it before I posted and it did not make any difference.

Key words "all this worked fine before". So did anything change?

She the only one from SF that can't login to Oakland?
Can you log her in on your LA site?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

no I cannot log into 1030 from LA. Feature failed.
i see two flashes of "contacting ICP" on my screen, then Feature Failed.
I created a brand new hot desk on SF, tried logging in to it in Oakland, Feature failed

I had a similar issue with same error displayed

I cleared up some SDS failures and it started to work

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

a reboot of the controller that the hot desk lived on resolved the issue.
