Hi All,
I'd like to host my web site on my local machine (it's not a commercial web site, just my exercise). I have a static IP with ADSL. I know my IP address (off course ), Primary and Secondary DNSs. I use a router with (I don't know the information I'm going to give here is needed or not) built-in firewall, NAT, DoS, DDoS, Secure encryoted VPN and DHCP server.
My web server is connected to a hub, which connected to the router. All internal IP addresses for each of my machines were assigned by the DHCP from the router.
Is there anyone could kindly give me some advise where I can get start, that would be very very appreciated.
Currently, I could PING my router and access my Router Configuration. But I'd like to know how to redirect the HTTP requests to my local Web server (using the IP address).
Another question - would the HTTP request behind my router can access my web site by enter the IP address of my router?
Thanks in advance.
