Hello there!

I was wondering if it is possible to host multiple domains on Exchange 2000?

The desired situation is basically this : A user decides which domain he/she wishes to send mail from, and then from within Outlook XP, they select the domain.

For example, if they want to send mail from name@domain1.com, they select it and send it. If they want to send mail from name@domain2.net, they select and send.

Is this possible, and how would I go about it?

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

All the best,

Yes, as many as you need.
All you have to do is add the domains to the EXC2000. The user gets assigned multiple smtp addresses. From Outlook, display the From field and select the user you want to send as. [sub]If the answer is here, mark it, others can benefit from it too. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

You have to add the domains in
Recipients - Recipients Policies
Right Click the Default Policy - Properties -
