i was using a lower version (4.0.x) of mysql for developing websites recently, on my comp using IIS. i dumped the database and transferred the files to my hosting company. they were using 4.1.x, and the db's weren't compatible. i had to have a friend change the ISO/Latin line to make the db work on the higher version...a little hassle, but no prob...
that was before.
now, i have a new hosting company, and they run 4.0.24...i went to the mysql website to download the mysql db, and the only 4.0.x option i see is 4.0.26...will this be okay to use, without having to change anything? will i be able to just dump the db on my comp, and upload to hosting company, without error?
thanks for your help/input...
