Hello,

Has anybody got any views/impressions/history on Hosted/Softswitch solutions for about 300 people or in general. I have heard good and bad.

This is to be usedd in UK (London), so any recommended suppliers in London or UK would be good if you know of any.

Happy holidays and many thanks

Any reason in particular? I'm not keen on the lack of control or fact that you tend to have to be tied in with there data too. I'm aware of some tech faults, but do you have anything more.

Any veiws are good

For hosted systems you could try Telstra ( or Colt ( ).

Personally haven't had any experience with hosted systems so can't really comment but there are several options out there.

Do you not want a system of your own at all? For a site of 300 users it would probably be best, and probably be cheaper, to have your own system that you can do what you want, when you want, with. I could give you several options of suppliers in London, including me if you wanted.

Disturbedone.

Many thanks. I would go for an Internal PBX myself with managed admin from a BP. This is for an old collegue whoo asked for any contacts or views from myself. I hear that both Colt and Telstra are having problems with their totally hosted solution.

I'll make him aware of the options and my veiws and yours.

many thanks

No probs. I've worked on dozens of different systems around the world and now for a distributor in London so I could give you more detailed options if you wanted. Unfortunately there's no Private Message function on this forum and posting personal details is a no no. Have a look at those options I gave you and you should be able to find out more on what you can do! :)
