Are You Kidding !?

With hosting as competitive as ever, you can find a good host with all the fixin's for between $5 to $10 bucks a month. Geez, A couple packs of smokes !!

Sorry, I just don't understand the crying I sometimes see about the need for FREE hosting.
People do have to make a living.

Good thing you're not going with geocities or similar.
I'll never visit a site on those hosts.
Those bloody advertising and pop ads are annoying.

hmmmm, just so you know all 'free' hostings will hav ads posted on your site, which can make it look unprofessional (unless its payed ads, and not host ads)... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Well,of course you get what you pay for, so sometimes free hosting is more of a headache than it is worth.

If you really want free hosting, I have a link on my site. These people require a credit card to set up the site, but they only charge your card if you go over the storage and bandwidth limits. Yes, they advertise on your site. I have used them in the past and it is decent hosting with FrontPage extensions if you need them.

This is what you get for free.....
50 MB1 Disk Space
500 MB2 Data Transfer
Free Sitebuilder
MS FrontPage 2002 Extensions
Unlimited CGI Scripting
Ads served on site

You will have access to a site control panel but don't lose your login info.

One problem is that there is ABSOLUTELY no support for the free site. So, if you lose your user name and or password, don't say I didn't tell you so.

Go to Quick Links menu and then FreeHosting.
Hope I have been of some help,
Micheal

Please read the terms of use for these forums.

You posting a link to your web site and asking the user to click an advert which you then gain money from is against the indended use.

If you want to suggest a host, please simply post a direct link to their web site.

Hope this helps Wullie
