Hi I have a 3 host environment with shared storage via a SAN, host3 has had a problem and I needed to be rebuild I removed from VCentre.

Is it just a case of flattening the host and re-adding to vcentre once done, I wont lose any info etc ?

If you have a host issue, why would you rebuild vCenter? Was there a problem with it? Some of your VM information is saved in the vCenter database, as well as your data trends, as long as you have that saved you should recover without any issues.

Good luck!

The answer is always "PEBKAC!
