Host Name on Solaris 10

Hey have a funny one.

Client server won't stay up and on-line. It drops off their Network usually within a few hours of a reboot.
This is a replacement server for them. Their current server and their new server both have the same host name.
I know this doesn't matter but is there maybe a weird Sol 10 thing that broadcasts the host name like it was looking for a WINS server or something? My client seams hung up on this being the explanation even after I explained Unix Networking is Different than Windows.
