I added a host header to IIS for OWA a couple days ago. Works great. Today I needed to do some tasks in Exchange System Manager. However, I couldn't do much as every time I drilled into Public Folders the console threw an error.

Something to the effect of HTTP and Host Header.

So, I take the Host Header out of IIS and System Manager works again. Does anyone know how to correct this? I would like to continue using a Host Header AND use System Manager.

Thanks!

Im assuming you are using a host header to access OWA via a simple URL, i.e. "mail.domain.com" with a corespondaing DNS A-Record

Instead of using a host header on the default website, create a new virtual directory that redirects to " and set the host header on the virtual directory instead.
