host for asp site with automatic email

I'm researching hosting for an ASP site for a page a small business wants me to put together. I've never actually had to worry about the hosting etc., and the company I did do ASP work for would never have allowed me to set up something that automatically sent emails out due to security concerns. What do I need to look for/ research when it comes to having an email sent out from the website once a user fills out a form etc.?
